Module 3 introduces into the washing process. Sinner Circle with it`s four factors is repeated and deepened in relation to the washing process. The following two chapters provide information about the washing process in washer extractors and tunnel washers, respectively. The last chapter looks into the subject of water saving possibilities and energy saving possibilities, respectively. Energy saving possibilities will be deepened in module 5. In particular, saving water also means saving energy.
Which are the components of Sinner's circle?
mechanics, time, chemistry and temperature
mechanics, time, chemistry
temperature, detergents, time, chemistry
The Sinner Factors are variable within certain limits. If one factor is modified,
it has to be balanced by one of the other factors
this conclusion is wrong
it will be balanced by the other factors automatically
Factor mechanics means
Movement of laundry caused by the movement of the drum
maintenance of the machines
nothing in this coherence
The mechanical action can be affected by:
load ratio, liquor ratio, construction and movement (revolutions) of the inner drum. In addition, foaming can disturb the mechanical action
it cannot be affected. The way the washer extractor or the tunnel washer is build it will work always in the same way
the length of the time periods between the attendance of the machines and the quality of attendance
The outer case of washer extractor is a ...
perforated cylinder
immovable liquor tank
sectional drum
Which of the following statements is right? The falling angle is ...
an angle at which an inner drum diverts from horizontal position thus facilitating washing process
an angle at which cloths fall down inside an inner drum
an angle at which cloths fall down when a washer extractor is switched off
The G factor is defined as ...
centrifugal force
gravity force
sinus of falling angle
The G factor for washer extractors ...
is higher than one
can reach values close to one for cloths resistant to mechanical action
is constant
Which of the following statements describes load ratio in a right way?
it is the product of the volume of an inner drum and the weight of cloths
it is a relation of the volume of an inner drum and the weight of cloths
it is dimensionless quantity
What do you know about liquor ratio?
it is quotient of the water volume in washer extractor and the weight of cloths - it influences on mechnical factor of washing process
it is quotient of the water volume in washer extractor and the weight of cloths - it marginally influences on whashing process
it's definition is the same as the one for the load ratio
In sectional drums ...
an increase of mechanical action is observed
a decreased mechanical action is observed
mechanical action is not necessary
Which of the following statements describes the dewatering constant G ?
it is a measure of removal of moisture from textiles only after intermediate spinning
it is a measure of moisture removal form textiles after washing and rinsing process and after intermediate or end spinning
neither the first nor the second definition is correct
Water consumption in washing extractors: Which assertion is correct?
does not depend on the liquor ratio
depends on the technology of washing process
dose not depend on the number of process phases
Choose the correct completion. Washing powders
do not have to contain surfactants
should rather contain sequestring agents
do not contain bleaching agents
Temperature is also a factor of the Sinner circle. Increased temperatures
support the mechanism of the chemical action.
will redundantise disinfection
..., especially really high temperatures lead to a better effect of enzymatical action
Temperature of the washing process
can serve as disinfectant of cloths and it can increase effectiveness of washing process
should be around the boiling point when enzymatic detergents are used
- it's influence on washing process is not known
Washing time
is in reverse proportion to washing agentÿconcentration and applied mechanics
is in proportion to detergent concentration
is in proportion to mechanical action
Washing time
is not important for disinfection of cloths
if prolonged favourably influences on cleanliness of cloths
it is reciprocally related to the concentration of washing powder and mechnical action
